Vallance Fabrics/Young Apparel Sales greatly values your support and as such, the protection of your privacy is very important to us. We are bound by the Australian Privacy Principles as set out in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth)(The Privacy Act) which governs the way in which we collect, hold, use and disclose your personal information and other applicable privacy laws that apply to private sector organisations.  Use of the Vallance Fabrics/Young Apparel website signifies implied agreement to this Privacy Policy.  

Collecting and holding your personal information

Only personal details that are deemed necessary in order to continue our work with various projects will be collected and stored. Typically, the kinds of personal information we will collect from you, with your knowledge, include; name, address, telephone number, email, bank account or credit card details and associated ABN numbers for wholesale references only. 

Our website uses ‘cookies’ via Google Analytics to track anonymous user activity. We do not store your personal information without your knowledge.

The personal information we collect is stored securely. Access is limited to employees, agents and contractors who have committed to maintain the confidentiality of your information. Payment details are, with some exception, stored through a third party such as PayPal, who adhere to their own strict Privacy Policy. 

Using and disclosing your personal information

We use your personal information to process payments, issue receipts and for purposes associated with carrying out the work of our company. We may also use your personal information to keep you updated on our work via newsletters and social media where you have consented to us doing so.

We do not rent, sell or exchange your personal information with third parties, except as required by law.

There are certain circumstances in which we may share some of your personal information with staff from the projects we engage with around the world. For example, in certain projects, we may provide the names of our clients in custom ordering only in the instance to enhance the quality of the final product. If you would rather we did not share any of your personal information with our international staff, please contact us.
